In October 04, Coralfarm become the first in Singapore that has attained
Marine Aquarium Council – Handling, Husbandry and Transport Core Standard
(MAC-HHT) certification as an importer, exporter and retailer. The MAC-HHT addresses
the handling of marine organisms during import, export and retail to ensure optimal
health with stringent qualifying and traceability requirements to demonstrate
that they are passed from only one certified MAC industry operator to another.
